The Education Pays Program offers academic preparation for all student participants. What better way to be more prepared, than to take advantage of the following.
Student participants have the opportunity to work with our trained academic advisor to help address some of their academic needs. Our advisor can help students find the right major, schedule classes, develop good study habits, and develop academic goals.
Education Pays Center supports students in their academic needs by encouraging tutoring activities. Student participants may use the newly updated EPC Tutoring Lab that is equipped with smart board technology, a computer, white boards and comfortable private seating. You may receive tutoring through an EKU tutoring center, classmate(s), EPC tutor and/or an EPC participant. Student participants are required to tutor at least once every two weeks or more if needed.
Student participants are encouraged to develop relationships that enhance their personal, cultural and academic self by participating in mentoring activities. Mentoring can be completed on or off campus and are required at least once every two weeks. Mentoring activities are completed with another EPC student. Mentoring activities include cultural events, academic events, campus community enrichment, professional or personal development and community events.
